IZIS Invasion definitely measures and marks a new chapter in the
existence of a sideline but persistent festival. In the performances
so far, with the aim of infiltrating intermediate art on the schedule
of venues in Slovenian Istria, it has successfully moved between
hesitation and percussion, institutionalization and guerilla. Maybe
that's why the military vocabulary suits him. The group of artists and
cultural producers that started it is forging an alliance with the
Coastal Galleries of Piran and occupying the Monfort exhibition space.
It presents works produced in recent years by Pina from Koper, whose
authors are also members of this same group, and at the same time the
festival program offers an invasion of works by other central Slovenian
producers of intermedial works.
